Last year John Bell Pipeline responded to a 3.30am mayday call from South East Water, helping to avert a disaster and reducing the number of homes affected, here’s what South East Water had to say about the service received;
‘I just wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help. I am still amazed to have received your return phone call at 3.30am after my very desperate phone message. You were the only company that did! I think we had tried every water company and supplier in the UK and you were the first to say you could respond by today.
The blank flanges have arrived on site, on time – we now have three sets, all within 1 hour! But yours won the prize for the best engineered from the team on site!
Just to put this in context we have been running an incident team since 6.00pm yesterday since the valve burst. The incident put at risk the supplies to up to 16,000 homes in South East Water region. We are now hoping to re-start the site in the next few hours. We have managed to minimise the number of customers impacted to just 400.
